Seems like all I post about anymore is new videos.
And today is not an exception. I have uploaded nearly……15 new videos within the last two weeks or so. And in fact, most of them are linerider captures that I’ve made within the last year. The other few are fractal zoom captures and a quick clip of an event I volunteered with last week. Which was AWESOME!
Anyway, go to http://www.youtube.com/user/depwl9992 and check them out!
Two new MAJOR developments in my life of social networking and/or online accounts.
1) I discovered a Christian guy named Steve McGranahan who calls himself “The world’s strongest redneck.” He’s got all his videos and beliefs up at http://www.stevemcgranahan.com.
2) Also, even more recently (by a couple hours) I registered with Wikipedia as an editor. I don’t think I’ll do much there, but I like to try to keep modern stuff updated properly, since I had a good excuse today which didn’t pan out after all. That’s all for now!
So I just finished a little research on some of my favorite radio DJ’s from or piped into WayFM.
- Wally – TotalAxxess (I did some research and FOUND his Youtube channel HERE!)
- Brant Hansen and the rest
It’s time now for another edition of ‘Make My Videos Popular,’ the only blog which promotes depwl9992 and all of his (my) lego animations. As of now, I’ve uploaded around four new videos, all less than 30 seconds in length. They are SlaveDriver, Spaceman, Riding the Horse and JohnWayneMount. I’m going to go there in a sec and open it up to anonymous comments and things (they’ll all still be censored, but I’m looking for feedback from those who don’t have their own channels). So check them out and see if you like ’em! Channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/Depwl9992
Okay, so this thing is seriously neglected, but then again, I’ve been rather busy minding my own business and not fighting with my dialup connection, which I rather think is slow. Anyway, here I be. I just was reminded of this when I decided to get a LinkedIn account created for my job search. And yes, I did lose my job back in March because the company had to ‘cut costs.’ Of course, I still don’t feel too badly about it as I was looking for some change of pace and stress-level, but it still hurts to have no income. However, I DO hope to get searching better and maybe I’ll find someone to work for.
Other notes: none.
Oh! There was one thing I wanted to mention. For Father’s Day, we got my dad a new GPS unit! It’s working great and we’ve been using it quite a lot for something called Geocaching
More notes? None.
Do I have much more to say? No. Not really.
So I’ll wrap it up here or something and get this posted as all my thousands of fans are probably pulling their hair out (if they have any left) wondering why I don’t post anything here.
Okay, so I was looking Myst Uru pictures on Google, and saw that it was possible to get into the big volcano in New Mexico. Plus a bunch of other places that I had never been. Well, I started looking and discovered that it was due to a developer tool called Flymode!
Now with the demise of Uru Live (which I never got to experience), I found that this tool is pretty rare out there and most websites have been taking them down. However, I found that someone on the UruObsession website found it and posted it on SendSpace. The flymode tool can be found here, thanks to highwaykind.

Well I’ve been storing a few of my online pictures in MSN Groups. But that wasn’t very good. It wastes a whole group, and I don’t like MSN that much. So I’ve moved almost all of my web pictures to PicasaWeb. Since Blogger stores all uploaded folders there anyway, I figured I might as well try to consolidate. So, in short, I’ve created a new album called Webdev. It will contain pixel colors (I already have black and white there) and a few other pictures even you can use for web development.
To use them is a bit confusing. You need to go to My Webdev Album and click on the picture you want to view/link to. The pixel ones are a bit small, so you will have to have good eyesight to find them.
Next, on the right side, you will see a link called “Download photo.” Right-click this link and “Copy Shortcut.” Go to your source code and Ctrl-V into an <img> tag. Make sure you remove the “?imgdl=1” from the end of the pasted image source code. This will make sure the image shows up on your page rather than prompting the end user to download it. Hit refresh (F5) in your web browser and my image should show up on the web page. Cool, huh?
I am finally able to store stuff online for everyone to see. And the great thing is, it’s a whole 5GB!!! But only people with Hotmail or Live accounts can administrate. Here’s my embed of it:
You can disregard that readme.txt there. I might just put stuff there for ya’ll to see!:)
I just realized something. Linerider has profiles just like Youtube channels (which I am obsessed with, as you probably have already guessed). So, to see all of my videos, vote for them and stuff, I would suggest going to this link:
